I am a doctoral researcher at Warwick Business School. In 2000, when European MBA programmes were still relatively little-known in Japan, I founded Business-Paradigm in the UK and later expanded the business into Japan. For more than two decades, I worked to build connections between European business schools, Japanese executives and MBA candidates, and global employers.

That experience, and the many MBA graduates I had the privilege of working with, eventually led me back to the question that now underpins my doctoral research: what happens after the MBA? My research examines how individuals contribute to organisational decision-making beyond formal roles and positions, with particular attention to informal influence, boundary-spanning activity and organisational contribution.
